OMAR el QABBANY
Independent web developer building cinematic websites and full-stack web apps for serious brands.
Four positions on the work I take.
Read them out of order — they still rhyme.
Your site is your most expensive employee.
It works 24/7. It never calls in sick. It either earns its keep or it tanks the room. Most founder sites read like a default template with a logo dropped in — that's not a site, that's a tax. The serious version of you needs a serious version of the room you greet people in.
Five seconds to land the impression.
I design every pixel around that window. Typography, motion, weight, restraint — every choice is scored against the first scroll. If it doesn't earn the next second, it gets cut. That's why most pages here load with intent, not animation theatre.
Marketing sites. Web apps. Client portals.
Built end-to-end. Hosted. Maintained. Not a Figma demo, not a Webflow swap. The Allan Portal is a full Next.js + Supabase + Mux app. The Califts store ships orders. The Odoriko menu runs on real iPads in a real restaurant. The deliverable is software that does the job.
Premium isn't a finish.
It's a refusal to ship the obvious version. The cheap call is always sitting right there — duplicate a layout, settle for the stock easing, send the deck before the copy is good. I get paid for not taking it. Cinematic is the byproduct, not the goal.
