Allan Productions
The public face of the Allan Productions ecosystem — a cinematic, video-forward marketing site that sets up the pitch before clients ever see the portal.
Allan shoots premium commercial film. Their old site looked like a 2017 wedding photographer's portfolio. The new site needed to feel like the work — confident, dark, slow when it needed to be, and unmistakably "not from a template shop."
Bespoke pre-loader with brand glyph reveal. Custom cursor that morphs over hover targets. GSAP scroll progress bar running across the top. Pinned scroll-triggered sections for case studies. Lenis smooth scroll tuned to feel like film. Dark on dark with a single warm gold accent — used surgically on emphasis only.
The brand operates in a saturated market of agency sites that look identical. The lever was restraint: a deeply dark base, generous typographic breathing room, italic serif emphasis used like a whisper, and the gold treated as a single instrument played only when the score called for it.
Every interaction is built around the cinematic motion recipe — spring easings for things that should feel alive, calmer power-curves for atmospherics, staggered entrances capped tight so nothing drags.
Allan now sends one URL to high-end prospects and the conversation starts halfway down the funnel. The site does the legwork that used to take a deck and a meeting.
